Shiv Kapur fires three-over-73 to be tied 68th after round 1 of US Open
Shiv Kapur fired a three-over-73 in the opening round of the US Open to be placed tied 68th. He trails the leader Martin Kaymer of Germany by eight shots.
Kapur, making his debut at the US Open, had a promising start as he birdied the 13th to move to one-under. However, bogeys on the 18th, first, fourth and ninth meant he closed the day with a 73 at the Pinehurst Resort & Country Club.

Kapur bags tied 17th place at Trophee Hassan II
Shiv Kapur (70-71-67-73) posted a one-over-73 in the final round of the European Tour's Trophee Hassan II in Morocco to bag tied 17th place with a total of seven-under-281. Spanirad Alejandro Canizares won the tournament with a 19-under-269 total.
Kapur, who had shot 67 in round three, slipped from overnight tied fourth to tied 17th in the final round.

Gaganjeet Bhullar (67-73) followed up his first round 67 with a 73 in round two of the Trophee Hassan II to drop from overnight tied eighth to tied 20th.
