Bhullar made two bogeys against a lone birdie on the front-nine but came back strongly with an eagle on the par-5 10th and a birdie on the 17th.

C Muniyappa (63-66-72) of Bangalore returned a sedate one-over-72 to stay eight shots clear of the field in round three of the PGTI’s Final Qualifying Stage for the 2014 season being held at the Poona Club Golf Course in Pune. Bhullar fires five-under-67 in Doha
Gaganjeet Bhullar fired a five-under-67 in the opening round of the Commercial Bank Qatar Masters to be placed tied eighth, three behind the leader George Coetzee of South Africa.
Bhullar teed off from the 10th and sank three birdies in a row from the 10th through the 12th. He added two more on the 16th and 17th to make the turn at five-under. Gaganjeet, who finished tied 10th in Abu Dhabi last week, made a birdie and a bogey on his second-nine.
