Khalin Joshi occupies fourth place after round two in Bali

Khalin Joshi (67-71) of India shot a one-under-71 in round two of the Asian Development Tour's The Bali National Golf Championship to drop from overnight tied second to fourth place. Joshi's two-day total of six-under-138 placed him three shots behind the leader Jake Stirling of Australia.

Joshi made four birdies and three bogeys during his second round of 71. After struggling with a cold putter, the 22-year-old Khalin had something to smile about when he chipped-in for birdie on the challenging 17th hole par three island green.

“I’m disappointed with my round. I didn’t putt or hit the ball good. Overall it was a bad day but I’m happy with my birdie on 17. That birdie sort of gave me some positives when I ended my round,” said Joshi.

Indians Himmat Rai (two-under-142) and Chiragh Kumar (one-under-143) were tied 12th and tied 16th respectively.

Shubhankar Sharma (six-over-150) missed the halfway cut by two strokes.

Meanwhile at the BMW International Open in Munich, both Indians Shiv Kapur (two-under-142) and Jeev Milkha Singh (two-over-146) missed the cut.
