Anirban Lahiri ends tied 44th at the RBC Heritage after his final round 72

Shiv Kapur claims tied 52nd place at the Shenzhen International

Anirban Lahiri (73-69-66-72) returned a one-over-72 in the final round of the PGA Tour's RBC Heritage to end tied 44th at four-under-280.

Lahiri, a winner of seven international titles, was in trouble with his first two shots of the day and thus dropped a bogey on the opening hole. A magnificent chip-putt on the next hole helped him get back to level-par for the day. Anirban then sank a 20-footer for another birdie on the fifth to resurrect his round.

However, the back-nine didn't go as per plan for Lahiri as two erratic tee shots resulted in bogeys on the 11th and 12th. Anirban thus fell 17 places from his overnight tied 27th.

The tournament was won by American Jim Furyk who defeated compatriot Kevin Kisner in a playoff. The two had ended the regulation 72 holes with identical totals of 18-under-266.

At the European Tour's Shenzhen International, Shiv Kapur (69-74-70-76) finished tied 52nd after his final round of four-over-76. Shiv's total of one-over-289 placed him 13 shots behind the winner Kiradech Aphibarnrat of Thailand. Kiradech beat Hao-tong Li of China in a playoff.
