    Mukesh Kumar's long-cherished dream finally came true at the Panasonic Open India 2016 as he added an international victory to his already impressive trophy cabinet worth over 120 titles.

    The seasoned campaigner Mukesh, registered a spectacular one-shot win at a total of 10-under-206 at the Delhi Golf Club (DGC) after a posting a two-under-70 in the third and final round of the US$ 400,000 Asian Tour event on Sunday.     Indian golfing giant Mukesh Kumar has an unending list of achievements on the Indian domestic circuit which includes over 120 titles. However, an international victory has eluded the man from Mhow so far.

    The 51-year-old seasoned campaigner now has all to play for in the final round of the Panasonic Open India at the Delhi Golf Club (DGC) as he leads the tournament by two strokes at eight-under-136 after the penultimate round. Mukesh followed up his opening round 67 with a clinical three-under-69 in round two to lay the foundation for the pursuit of his maiden Asian Tour triumph on Sunday.

    Indian quintet leads after round one as Khalin, Rashid & Shamim join Jyoti and Mukesh at the top

    The Indian trio of Khalin Joshi, Rashid Khan and Shamim Khan fired opening round scores of five-under-67 on day two to join compatriots Jyoti Randhawa and Mukesh Kumar at the top of the leaderboard.

    There was more good news for India as 20-year-old Shubhankar Sharma was sitting at a total of five-under through 12 holes of round two when play was suspended on Friday due to fading light. He trailed Thailand’s Jazz Janewattananond by two shots. Jazz had completed 14 holes of round two when play was halted.
