  Digvijay Singh leads his team to victory at the Pro-Am event of the PGTI Cochin Masters 2014

  The Pro-Am event of the PGTI Cochin Masters presented by CIAL Golf & Country Club was won by Gurgaon-based professional Digvijay Singh and his team on Sunday. The leading amateur golfers from Kochi competed at the Pro-Am event.

  
  

  The Pro-Am was played in the team scramble format where the team's best ball was chosen on every shot including the putting green. After the best ball was chosen all other players were to place their ball within One Club Length before continuing play. Each team consisted of one professional and three amateurs.

  Shubhankar Sharma claims maiden title with day's best score of 32

  At 17 becomes youngest winner on PGTI, leads Super Series points table

  Shubhankar Sharma of Gurgaon claimed his maiden title in style after posting a four-under-32 in the final round of the PGTI Cochin Masters presented by CIAL Golf and Country Club. Shubhankar, who totaled nine-under-135 for the tournament, became the youngest winner on the PGTI at the age of 17. Delhi's Rashid Khan and Sanjay Kumar of Lucknow finished as the joint runners-up at seven-under-137 at the Rs. 50 lakh PGTI Super Series event.

  Sanjay Kumar and Rashid Khan emerge top contenders in round three

  Sanjay Kumar of Lucknow and Delhi’s Rashid Khan ended day three as joint leaders at the PGTI Cochin Masters presented by CIAL Golf and Country Club. While Sanjay shot a three-under-33 on Friday, Rashid came up with a two-under-34 as both players took their three-day tally to seven-under-101. There is a three-way tie for third place between Gurgaon’s Shubhankar Sharma and Sri Lankans Anura Rohana and K Prabagaran at five-under-103.

  Rashid Khan fires solid one-under for second round lead

  Delhi’s Rashid Khan fired a solid one-under-35 to take the sole lead in round two of the PGTI Cochin Masters presented by CIAL Golf and Country Club. Khan enjoys a one-shot lead in the second PGTI Super Series event of the season as his total reads five-under-67.   Rashid Khan and Anil Mane top performers in round one

  Delhi’s Rashid Khan and Anil Bajrang Mane of Mumbai topped the leaderboard in round one of the PGTI Cochin Masters presented by CIAL Golf & Country Club. Khan and Mane shot scores of four-under-32 to take the joint lead on the opening day of the season’s second PGTI Super Series event.
