  Wasim Khan wins maiden title at PGTI NEXGEN’s Phillaur Open presented by R S Gill

  Wasim Khan of Delhi shot a final round score of four-under 67 to move his total to 10-under 203 for the week and thus win his maiden title at the PGTI NEXGEN’s Phillaur Open presented by R S Gill played at the Ranjitgarh Golf Club in Phillaur, Punjab.

  Lucknow’s Rajesh Kumar Gautam (68) and Chandimandir’s Chandarjeet Yadav (69) finished joint runners-up at a total of eight-under 205.

  Kurush Heerjee and Manjot Singh hold joint lead after round two of PGTI NEXGEN’s Phillaur Open presented by R S Gill

  Jamshedpur’s Kurush Heerjee and Chandigarh golfer Manjot Singh held the joint lead at a total of seven-under 135 after round two of the PGTI NEXGEN’s Phillaur Open presented by R S Gill being played at the Ranjitgarh Golf Club in Phillaur, Punjab.

  Chandarjeet Yadav (64) of Chandimandir, Amrit Lal (66) of Chandigarh and Delhi’s Wasim Khan (69) were placed tied third at totals of six-under 136.

  The cut went at three-over 145. The top 37 professionals made the cut for the third and final round.

  Phillaur Open presented by R S Gill marks return of professional golf to Phillaur after 14 years

  The third event of the 2025 Professional Golf Tour of India (PGTI) NEXGEN season will be the Phillaur Open presented by R S Gill which will be played from March 25 – 27 at the Ranjitgarh Golf Club in Phillaur. The Pro-Am event will be played on March 23.

  The presenting partner for this week’s event in Phillaur is renowned lawyer and avid golfer Mr. R S Gill.
