  Rashid Khan storms into a close second with phenomenal 61

  Delhi-based professional Arjun Prasad, searching for his maiden title, kept the lead for the third day running after he carded a four-under 66 in round three of the INR 1 crore Rajasthan Tourism presents Jaipur Open 2024 being played at the Rambagh Golf Club in Jaipur.

  The 25-year-old Arjun (62-64-66), the overnight leader by three shots, took his total of 18-under 192 on Friday to continue at the top with a slender one-shot lead.

  Two-time international winner Rashid Khan (64-68-61) of Delhi, who was overnight tied 12th and six shots behind the lead, returned a phenomenal nine-under 61, the week’s lowest score, to progress up to second place at 17-under 193.

  Delhi’s Arjun Prasad built on his overnight lead with a brilliant second round of six-under 64 at the INR 1 crore Rajasthan Tourism presents Jaipur Open 2024 being played at the Rambagh Golf Club in Jaipur.

  Arjun Prasad (62-64), the first-round leader by one shot, extended his lead to three strokes at a total of 14-under 126 on Thursday following a round that featured an eagle, five birdies and a bogey.

  Kshitij Naveed Kaul (64-65), another Delhi golfer and last week’s winner, was placed second at 11-under 129 as a result of his 65 on day two that included an eagle, five birdies and two bogeys.

  Delhi golfer Arjun Prasad shot a sizzling opening round of eight-under 62, a bogey-free effort, to take the lead at the INR 1 crore Rajasthan Tourism presents Jaipur Open 2024 being played at the Rambagh Golf Club in Jaipur.

  Pune’s Pranav Mardikar came up with a seven-under 63 at the Par-70 course to be placed second.

  Seven players were bunched in tied third with scores of 64 including last week’s winner Kshitij Naveed Kaul, Indian star Rashid Khan, M Dharma, Harendra Gupta, Jamal Hossain, Mari Muthu and Mohd Azhar.

  Jaipur’s Prakhar Asawa carded a 67 to be the highest-placed among the local golfers as he occupied tied 23rd position.

  Rajasthan Tourism presents Jaipur Open 2024 tees off from November 13

  The TATA Steel Professional Golf Tour of India (PGTI) will be staging the Rajasthan Tourism presents Jaipur Open 2024 at the Rambagh Golf Club in Jaipur from November 13 – 16, 2024. The tournament carries a prize purse of INR 1 crore. The Pro-Am event will be played on November 17.

  Rajasthan Tourism is the Presenting Partner for the tournament and Rambagh Golf Club is the Host Venue.
