    Shiv Kapur prevails over Rashid Khan in a playoff; Kapur salvages day with late surge at Jeev Milkha Singh Invitational 2021 Presented by TAKE Sports

    Shiv Kapur prevailed over Rashid Khan in a playoff at the Rs. 1.5 crore Jeev Milkha Singh Invitational 2021 Presented by TAKE Sports to register his first ever win at a PGTI Order of Merit event. The tournament was decided in a playoff for the fourth year in succession.

    The Dubai-based Kapur (64-68-67-70), who originally hails from Delhi and Khan (65-67-69-68), another Delhi golfer, were in a deadlock at 19-under 269 at the top of the leaderboard after regulation play having shot final rounds of 70 and 68 respectively at the Chandigarh Golf Club.

    While Dubai-based Shiv (64-68) went bogey-free for the second day in succession with a four-under 68, Delhi-based Rashid (65-67) brought in a card of five-under 67 featuring seven birdies and two bogeys as both players enjoyed the joint second round lead at 12-under 132.

    TAKE Sports and the TATA Steel Professional Golf Tour of India (PGTI) will be staging the fourth edition of the Jeev Milkha Singh Invitational Presented by TAKE Sports at the famed Chandigarh Golf Club from November 11 – 14, 2021. The main event will be preceded by the Pro-Am event on November 10.
