The last day of the inaugural TAKE Classic witnessed a class act by Udayan Mane that helped him turn the tables on Ajeetesh Sandhu and overnight leader Mukesh Kumar at the Kalhaar Blues & Greens in Ahmedabad.
Bengaluru lad Udayan, who shifted his base to the Kalhaar Blues & Greens golf course in Ahmedabad just two months back, walked away with his second title of the season thanks to a gallant seven-under-65 in the final round that took his total to 14-under-274 at the Rs. 50 lakh event.

Ajeetesh Sandhu shoots day's best 66, moves into second
Mukesh Kumar of Mhow continued to hold the advantage in round three of the inaugural TAKE Classic despite a sedate even-par-72 that saw his lead being cut down to two shots at the Kalhaar Blues & Greens in Ahmedabad. Mukesh’s three-day total read 11-under-205 at the Rs. 50 lakh event.
Chandigarh’s Ajeetesh Sandhu, who shot the third day’s best score of six-under-66, is likely to be Mukesh’s biggest challenger on the final day. Sandhu closed the penultimate round in second place at nine-under-207.

Mukesh Kumar pulls five clear with breathtaking 65 in round two of TAKE Classic
Anura Rohana and Abhijit Singh Chadha are joint second
The seasoned Mukesh Kumar completed his second round in dramatic fashion making a 15 feet par putt in virtual darkness to grab a five-shot clubhouse lead at 11-under-133 at the TAKE Classic. The Mhow golfer shot a breathtaking bogey-free seven-under-65 on a day that witnessed two rain delays and a loss of more than two hours of play at the Kalhaar Blues & Greens in Ahmedabad.
Sri Lankan Anura Rohana and Chandigarh’s Abhijit Singh Chadha fired scores of 69 and 71 respectively to be tied for second at six-under-138.
Abhijit Singh Chadha takes the honours on day one of TAKE Classic
Abhijit Singh Chadha of Chandigarh produced a five-under-67 in tough conditions on a rain-hit day at the Kalhaar Blues & Greens golf course to take the opening round lead at the TAKE Classic.
Chadha is being pursued by a bunch of five golfers who share second place at four-under-68. The chasing pack includes Bengalurean M Dharma and Sri Lankan N Thangaraja, both of whom sank two eagles each on Wednesday, as well as Panchkula-based Shubhankar Sharma, Mukesh Kumar of Mhow and Mumbai’s Anil Bajrang Mane.
