    Delhi’s Honey Baisoya made it back-to-back wins on the PGTI after marching to a comfortable nine-stroke triumph at the IndianOil Servo Masters Golf 2016 at the Digboi Golf Links on Saturday.

    Baisoya posted a clinical two-under-70 in the final round to end up with a winning tournament total of 20-under-268. The 20-year-old, who won in Shillong last week, thus swept the north-eastern leg of PGTI’s 2016 season.

    Breaks PGTI record for most eagles in a season

    Delhi’s Honey Baisoya seems poised for back-to-back wins on the PGTI. The 20-year-old who won in Shillong last week, stretched his overnight lead to a substantial six shots in round three of the IndianOil Servo Masters 2016 after he fired the week’s best score of eight-under-64 at the Digboi Golf Links on Friday. Baisoya’s total stood at 18-under-198 on the penultimate day.

    Delhi’s Kapil Kumar, Honey’s cousin, continued to occupy second place as a result of his three-under-69 on day three of the Rs. 35 lakh event.

    Honey Baisoya soars to the top aided by two eagles

    Kapil Kumar on cousin Honey's tail

    Honey Baisoya of Delhi soared to the top of the leaderboard on the back of two eagles at the IndianOil Servo Masters Golf 2016 on Thursday. His second successive round of five-under-67 placed him one ahead at the halfway stage at 10-under-134.

    The leader group at the Digboi Golf Links on Friday will be a family affair as Honey’s cousin brother Kapil Kumar, another Delhi golfer, shot a three-under-69 in round two to end the day in second place at nine-under-135.

    Twenty-four-year-old Kapil Kumar of Delhi shot a brilliant six-under-66 at the historic Digboi Golf Links to take the opening round honours at the IndianOil Servo Masters Golf 2016.
