The Silverglades Delhi team comprising of Himmat Singh Rai, Shamim Khan and Rashid Khan, put up a resilient performance to trounce the DLF Gurgaon team consisting of Jyoti Randhawa, Digvijay Singh and Abhinav Lohan, by a 3-0 margin in the final of the Rs. 1.24 crore Louis Philippe Cup 2013.Â

The DLF Gurgaon team enjoyed a slight advantage over Silverglades Delhi in the final of the Louis Philippe Cup 2013 when play was suspended at the Jaypee Greens Golf Resort on Saturday due to heavy rain that led to unplayable course conditions.
Play was suspended at 12:40 pm on Saturday. The matches will resume at 7:15 am on Sunday.

Silverglades Delhi to face-off against DLF Gurgaon in Louis Philippe Cup final
Silverglades Delhi and DLF Gurgaon made it to the final of the Louis Phillipe Cup 2013. While Silverglades Delhi defeated defending champions Navratna Ahmedabad 2-1, DLF Gurgaon overcame hosts Jaypee Greens Greater Noida by the same margin in the semi-finals.
In the first match of the semi-final encounter between Silverglades Delhi and Navratna Ahmedabad, Rashid Khan shot a 73 against Vikrant Chopra’s 75 to give the Delhi team a 1-0 lead. The Ahmedabad team however, looked favorites to reach their second consecutive final as both its players Mithun Perera and Vinod Kumar were ahead of their Delhi counterparts with just one hole to play.

Holders Navratna Ahmedabad began their quest to retain the Louis Philippe Cup Inter-City Golf crown in style with an aggregate score of six-under-138 to be tied at the top with Silverglades Delhi at the Jaypee Greens Golf Resort in Greater Noida.
