  Sunit Chowrasia registers one-shot win at ALPHA Sports Academy Golf Championship 2026 Hosted by Patna Golf Club

  Sunit Chowrasia announced his return after a long injury layoff with a hard-earned one-shot victory at the INR 25 lakh ALPHA Sports Academy Golf Championship 2026 Hosted by Patna Golf Club, the fourth event of the 2026 DP World PGTI NexGen season.

  Kolkata-based Sunit Chowrasia (71-65-73), nephew of the legendary SSP Chawrasia, who was the overnight leader by three shots, came up with a steady 73 in the third and final round to bag his maiden title as he totaled seven-under 209 for the week.

  Kolkata’s Sunit Chowrasia, making his way back after a long injury layoff, fired a classy seven-under 65 in round two to establish a healthy three-shot lead at the INR 25 lakh Alpha Sports Academy Golf Championship 2026 Hosted by Patna Golf Club, the fourth event of the 2026 DP World PGTI NexGen season.

  Sunit Chowrasia (71-65), nephew of the legendary SSP Chawrasia, who was in tied sixth place, six shots off the lead, after round one, matched the tournament low of 65 on day two to gain five spots and take the lead with a total score of eight-under 136.

  Rohit Baisoya shoots top-notch seven-under 65 for round one lead at Alpha Sports Academy Golf Championship 2026 Hosted by Patna Golf Club

  Delhi’s Rohit Baisoya shot a top-notch seven-under 65 to take the round one lead at the INR 25 lakh Alpha Sports Academy Golf Championship 2026 Hosted by Patna Golf Club, the fourth event of the 2026 DP World PGTI NexGen season.

  Bipin Mukhiya and Manoviraj Shekhawat were tied second with scores of 68.

  Vinay Kumar Yadav, the winner on the NexGen last week, made a hole-in-one on the first hole during his round of 72 to be placed tied ninth.

  Md Nawab was the highest-placed among the local professionals as he carded a 70 to be tied fourth.
