Yuvraj Sandhu, who had already secured the 2025 PGTI Order of Merit crown following his sixth victory of the season two weeks back, added another feather to his cap with a one-stroke triumph at the TATA Open 2025 to make it a record seven titles in the season.
The 28-year-old Yuvraj (67-64-68-65), the overnight joint leader, shot a final round score of six-under 65 highlighted by his match-winning birdie on the last hole to total 20-under 264 for the week at the INR 2 crore event, the PGTI’s season finale, played at the Beldih and Golmuri Golf Courses in Jamshedpur.

Twenty-one-year-old Shubham Jaglan (68-66-65), who turned professional earlier this year and is playing only his third event on the PGTI, came up with a top-notch and error-free six-under 65 on day three to move up one spot into the joint lead at 14-under 199. Yuvraj Sandhu moved to the top of the leaderboard thanks to his sizzling eight-under 64 in round two of the TATA Open 2025, an INR 2 crore event and the PGTI’s season-finale, being played at the Beldih and Golmuri golf courses in Jamshedpur.
Yuvraj (67-64), who played at Beldih on Friday, totalled 11-under 131 at the halfway stage to lead by three shots and move up seven positions from his overnight tied eighth.
Yuvraj, a six-time winner on the PGTI this year, has already won the 2025 PGTI Order of Merit crown and thus sealed his spot on the DP World Tour for next year. Sandhu is now looking for a record seventh title on the PGTI in a single season.

Khalin Joshi and Veer Ahlawat took the opening day honours at the TATA Open 2025, an INR 2 crore event and the PGTI’s season-finale, being played at the Beldih and Golmuri golf courses in Jamshedpur.
In round one, one half of the field played its 18 holes at Beldih Golf Club while the other half of the field played its 18 holes at the Golmuri Golf Club. In round two, both halves of the field will switch venues.

The TATA STEEL Group and the Professional Golf Tour of India (PGTI) have announced the TATA Open golf tournament which will be held in Jamshedpur from 25th – 28th December, 2025. The four-day tournament will be hosted at the Beldih and Golmuri golf courses in Jamshedpur. The event offers a prize purse of INR 2 crore and constitutes the last leg of the 2025 PGTI season.
The tournament will have a field of 126 professionals. The event will be played in the stroke-play format consisting of four rounds of 18 holes each. The top 50 players and ties will make the cut after two rounds.
