  Yuvraj Sandhu bags sixth title of the season with thumping eight-shot margin at Vishwa Samudra Open 2025 presented by Kapil Dev; Yuvraj seals 2025 PGTI Order of Merit crown and spot on DP World Tour

  A determined Yuvraj Sandhu, coming back from a heartbreaking runner-up finish in Jaipur last week, dominated proceedings with a final round of six-under 66 to register a thumping eight-shot win at the INR 2 crore Vishwa Samudra Open 2025 presented by Kapil Dev played at the revered Delhi Golf Club (DGC).

  The Chandigarh-based Yuvraj (73-69-66-66), who shot a second straight bogey-free 66, totaled 14-under 274 for the week. As a result, Sandhu picked up the winner’s cheque worth INR 30 lakh to take an unassailable lead in the PGTI Ranking with his season’s earnings moving to INR 1,61,67,100.

  PGTI Ranking leader Yuvraj Sandhu, a five-time winner on the PGTI this year, will be gunning for a record sixth title this season come the final day of the Vishwa Samudra Open 2025 presented by Kapil Dev, an INR 2 crore event, being played at the revered Delhi Golf Club (DGC).

  N Thangaraja moves to the top with day’s best 66

  Sri Lankan N Thangaraja moved to the top of the leaderboard after firing the second day’s best score of six-under 66 at the Vishwa Samudra Open 2025 presented by Kapil Dev, an INR 2 crore event, being played at the Delhi Golf Club (DGC).

  Thangaraja (73-66), a three-time winner this year and currently placed fourth in the PGTI Ranking, took his 36-hole tally to five-under 139 for a two-stroke advantage over the rest of the field. Thanga, thus jumped 17 spots from his overnight tied 18th.

  Jairaj Singh Sandhu took the day one honours courtesy his four-under 68 at the Vishwa Samudra Open 2025 presented by Kapil Dev, an INR 2 crore event, being played at the Delhi Golf Club (DGC).

  Clubhouse leader Jairaj, who hails from Chandigarh, had Mani Ram close on his heels as the latter struck a 69 to be second in the clubhouse.
