Gurugram’s Dhruv Sheoran struck a valiant three-under 69 in the final round of the INR 50 lakh Chennai Pro Championship 2024 to earn his maiden title on the PGTI. Dhruv totaled 16-under 272 for the week to win with a comfortable three-stroke margin at the TNGF Cosmo Golf Course in Chennai.
Sheoran (69-67-67-69), previously a two-time winner on the PGTI Feeder Tour in 2018, bagged a winning cheque worth INR 7.5 lakh on Friday that propelled him from 23rd to 14th position in the TATA Steel PGTI Ranking.

Gurugram’s Dhruv Sheoran shot a brilliant five-under 67 to move up two spots and emerge joint leader at a total of 13-under 203 on day three of the INR 50 lakh Chennai Pro Championship 2024 being played at the TNGF Cosmo Golf Course in Chennai.
Manu Gandas, who like Sheoran, also hails from the DLF Golf & Country Club, Gurugram, signed for a four-under 68 to share the lead for the third day running.

The inaugural edition of the Chennai Pro Championship will be played from August 20 – 23 at the Tamil Nadu Golf Federation (TNGF) Cosmo Golf Course. The tournament carries a prize purse of INR 50 lakh. The Pro-Am event will be staged on August 24.
The event will witness participation by 126 golfers including 123 professionals and three amateurs.
