Twenty-year-old Shaurya Binu of Bengaluru saw it home with a gallant final round performance of five-under 65 in a closely-fought affair at the INR 1 Crore Mysuru Open 2024 Hosted by Jayachamaraja Wadiyar Golf Club (JWGC).
Shaurya (64-64-64-65) totaled 23-under 257 to prevail by one shot over Patna’s Aman Raj (62-67-66-63) who carded a brilliant 63 in the last round.

Patna’s Aman Raj took the round one lead with a sublime eight-under 62 at the inaugural Mysuru Open Hosted by Jayachamaraja Wadiyar Golf Club (JWGC), the first ever men’s professional tournament to be played in Mysuru.
Seventeen-year-old amateur Veer Ganapathy of Bengaluru, who also plays regularly at JWGC, struck a seven-under 63 in his first ever round in a professional event to be tied for second place along with Chandigarh’s Angad Cheema and Noida’s Arjun Sharma.
