Indian star Gaganjeet Bhullar lived up to his billing of being one of the pre-tournament favourites as he outshined all his rivals in the final round to lift the trophy at the INR 1 crore Nissan presents Chandigarh Open 2024 hosted by Chandigarh Golf Club.
Bhullar (67-67-65-68), a 12-time international winner who was playing at his home course this week, bagged his 25th career title and 13th win on the PGTI after posting a gritty last round of four-under 68 to ease to a comfortable four-shot victory with a week’s tally of 21-under 267 which also happened to be the lowest winning total at the Chandigarh Golf Club.

The Chandigarh duo of Gaganjeet Bhullar and Angad Cheema were ahead in the title race as they enjoyed a two-shot advantage at the end of round three of the INR 1 crore Nissan presents Chandigarh Open 2024 hosted by Chandigarh Golf Club.
Playing at their home course, Bhullar and Cheema were tied for the lead at 17-under 199, having shot rounds of seven-under 65 and six-under 66 respectively.
Mysuru’s Yashas Chandra registered a 68 to end the day in third place at 15-under 201.
Gurugram-based Dhruv Sheoran produced the day’s best score of 64 to jump 10 spots to fourth place at 14-under 202.

The tournament carries a prize purse of INR 1 crore and will be played at the prestigious Chandigarh Golf Club from April 3 – 6, 2024. The Pro-Am event will be played on April 2.
