  Chikkarangappa’s solid final round 68 earns him remarkable come-from-behind win at Gujarat Open Golf Championship 2021 Presented by Gujarat Tourism

  Bengaluru’s Chikkarangappa took centre-stage on Friday as he shot a solid final round score of four-under-68 to earn a remarkable come-from-behind win at the Gujarat Open Golf Championship 2021 Presented by Gujarat Tourism being played at the Kalhaar Blues & Greens Golf Club in Ahmedabad.

  The 27-year-old Chikka, a two-time winner on the Asian Development Tour (ADT) and an Asian Tour regular, ended the week at the Rs. 30 lakh event with a winning total score of nine-under-279 to emerge triumphant by three shots and register his 13th win on the PGTI. It was his 14th career title.

  Om Prakash Chouhan enjoys commanding five-shot lead despite his 73 in round three of Gujarat Open Golf Championship 2021 Presented by Gujarat Tourism

  Om Prakash Chouhan of Mhow didn’t have the best of days on the golf course on Thursday but he still continued to enjoy a substantial lead for the third consecutive day at the Gujarat Open Golf Championship 2021 Presented by Gujarat Tourism being played at the Kalhaar Blues & Greens Golf Club in Ahmedabad.

  The 34-year-old Chouhan, a five-time winner on the PGTI, returned a disappointing one-over-73 in round three which resulted in his overnight lead of seven being reduced to five shots as his total stood at 11-under-205.

  Om Prakash Chouhan stretches lead to a massive seven shots with a steady 69 in round two of Gujarat Open Golf Championship 2021 Presented by Gujarat Tourism

  After his enthralling nine-under-63 in round one, Om Prakash Chouhan of Mhow had a relatively quieter second round of three-under-69 but still managed to stretch his lead to a massive seven shots as his total moved to 12-under-132 at the Gujarat Open Golf Championship 2021 Presented by Gujarat Tourism being played at the Kalhaar Blues & Greens Golf Club in Ahmedabad.

  PGTI Order of Merit leader Karandeep Kochhar of Chandigarh and Gurugram-based Tapy Ghai were in joint second place at a total of five-under-139 as both shot scores of 69 and 70 on the first two days of the Rs. 30 lakh event.
