Shamim Khan coasts to three-shot win at Kensville Open 2019 Presented by TATA Steel PGTI
Delhi’s Shamim Khan coasted to a comfortable three-shot win at the Kensville Open 2019 Presented by TATA Steel PGTI, a Rs. 40 lakh event, played at the Kensville Golf & Country Club near Ahmedabad.
The experienced Shamim, the overnight leader by two shots, posted a tenacious two-under-70 in the final round to emerge as the wire-to-wire champion with a winning total of 13-under-275. Khan thus lifted his 15th trophy on the TATA Steel PGTI which also accounted for his overall 17th professional win.

Delhi’s Shamim Khan opened up a two-shot lead at 11-under-205 to emerge as the title favourite after round three of the Kensville Open 2019 Presented by TATA Steel PGTI, a Rs. 40 lakh event, being played at the Kensville Golf & Country Club near Ahmedabad.
Shamim struck a steady one-under-71 in windy conditions not ideal for scoring. Khan thus continued at the top of the leaderboard for the third consecutive day.

Kolkata’s Sunit Chowrasia shot a second straight five-under-67 to join Delhi’s Shamim Khan in the halfway lead at the Kensville Open 2019 Presented by TATA Steel PGTI, a Rs. 40 lakh event, being played at the Kensville Golf & Country Club near Ahmedabad.
Sunit and Shamim, who carded a 68 on Friday, had identical totals of 10-under-134 after 36 holes.

Shamim Khan, Arjun Prasad take the early lead at Kensville Open 2019 Presented by TATA Steel PGTI
Delhi-based golfers, the seasoned Shamim Khan and youngster Arjun Prasad, took the early lead at the third edition of the Kensville Open Presented by TATA Steel PGTI, a Rs. 40 lakh event, being played at the magnificent Kensville Golf & Country Club near Ahmedabad.
The 41-year-old Shamim and the 20-year-old Arjun returned scores of six-under-66 in the first round to establish a one-shot advantage over Kolkata’s Sunit Chowrasia (67) who was placed third.
