Indian golfing giant Mukesh Kumar of Mhow produced a class act, a bogey-free five-under-67, in the final round of the PGTI Cochin Masters presented by CIAL Golf Club, to come home the victor by one shot at 12-under-276.Mukesh thus gave his preparations for next week’s Panasonic Open in Japan a major boost. While overnight leader Harendra Gupta of Chandigarh hung on to the lead with a quiet 72 on day three, he was joined at the top by Sri Lankan Anura Rohana who carded a splendid 67 that catapulted him four places from his overnight tied fifth position. Chandigarh’s Ajeetesh Sandhu, Delhi’s Shivendra Singh Sisodia and Sudhir Sharma of Greater Noida took the opening day honours at the PGTI Cochin Masters presented by CIAL Golf Club 2017.
