  Bangalore’s Khalin Joshi shot a course record nine-under-63 on the final day to register a sensational come-from-behind victory at the PGTI Ahmedabad Masters presented by Kalhaar Blues & Greens. Joshi signed off with a 17-under-271 total to bag his second professional crown. Chikkarangappa, another Bangalorean, finished runner-up at 15-under-273 after his final round of five-under-67.

  Shubhankar Sharma opens up mammoth six-shot lead on penultimate day

  Shubhankar Sharma of the DLF Golf & Country Club, Gurgaon, opened up a mammoth six-shot lead on the penultimate day of the PGTI Ahmedabad Masters presented by Kalhaar Blues & Greens thanks to his third round effort of six-under-66.   Shubhankar Sharma takes route 65 to top of the leaderboard in round two

  Chikkarangappa & Rahul Bajaj lie joint second

  Shubhankar Sharma of the DLF Golf & Country Club, Gurgaon, climbed to the top of the leaderboard after his superb seven-under-65 in round two of the PGTI Ahmedabad Masters presented by Kalhaar Blues & Greens. Shubhankar, as a result, took his two-day tally to 10-under-134 to lead by one shot at the halfway stage. Chikkarangappa S of Bangalore and Noida’s Rahul Bajaj were on the leader’s tail at nine-under-135.
