SSP Chowrasia fell five feet short of landing his maiden Hero Indian Open and his first Asian Tour titles since 2011 and Anirban Lahiri failed to keep his love-affair going with the Delhi Golf Club even as Bangladeshi Siddikur claimed a nerve-wracking one-stroke victory at the 50th Hero Indian Open on Sunday.
It was PGTI member Siddikur’s second career title on the Asian Tour and he finally broke through the jinx of regular top-10 finishes at the DGC.

Bangladesh’s Md Siddikur Rahman continued to dominate the Hero Indian Open when he shot a flawless third round five-under-par 67 to extend his lead at the 50th Hero Indian Open by four shots over India’s S.S.P. Chowrasia on Saturday.
There is a strong Indian flavor in the top-10 with five Indians in that zone.

Shiv Kapur leads a strong local challenge at 2013 Indian Open
The Indian contingent is expected to mount a serious challenge at the Indian Open this year. Shiv Kapur, who recently earned his European Tour card for 2014, will lead the local challenge.
