  Kolkata’s Shankar Das produced a determined two-under-70 on Friday to ease to a comfortable two-stroke win at the PGTI Players Championship presented by Panchkula Golf Club. Shankar recorded a tournament total of 15-under-273 to lift his fourth professional title. Amardip Sinh Malik of Greater Noida finished as the runner-up.

  Kolkata’s Shankar Das and Bangalore’s Chikkarangappa S took centre-stage in round three of the PGTI Players Championship presented by Panchkula Golf Club. Both golfers ended day three with identical totals of 13-under-203 to be placed in the joint lead. Amardip Sinh Malik of Meerut and Delhi’s Shamim Khan are three strokes off the lead in tied third position.

  Bhasin posts day's best to climb to tied third

  Rahul Bajaj of Noida followed up his superb first round effort of 67 with a sizzling 66 on day two to move to the top of the leaderboard at 11-under-133 at the PGTI Players Championship presented by Panchkula Golf Club. Chikkarangappa S of Bangalore carded a 69 on Wednesday to trail the leader by two strokes.
