  • Yashas Chandra is one of the leading golfers to emerge from the city of Mysuru.  

 

  • Chandra’s eight top-10s in 2024 helped him finish eighth on the PGTI Order of Merit. His best finish of the season was joint runner-up at the Gurgaon Open powered by Amrutanjan. He also had two other top-3 finishes at the Nissan presents Chandigarh Open hosted by Chandigarh Golf Club and the Nissan presents Delhi-NCR Open.

 

  • Yashas, representing Karnataka, won the gold medal in the individual event at the 2023 National Games.

 

  • Yashas was 14th in the 2023 PGTI Order of Merit after he posted five top-10s during the season. His top finish of the year was runner-up at the Bollineni Panache & Telangana Tourism presents Telangana Golconda Masters.

 

  • With six top-10s in 2022, Chandra secured 16th position on the PGTI Order of Merit. His best finishes were tied third places at the Pune Open and the IndianOil SERVO Masters.

 

  • He came up with two top-10s on the PGTI in 2020-21. His season-best was tied sixth at the TATA Steel PGTI Players Championship 2020 presented by Chandigarh Golf Club.

 

  • Yashas clinched a runner-up finish at the Pune Open 2019. He posted four more top-10s the same season to end up 18th on the PGTI’s money list.

 

  • In his rookie season in 2018, Chandra claimed two top-5 results to finish 25th on the PGTI’s merit list. His best result of the season was fourth place at the CG Open.
