Ajeetesh Sandhu leads his team to victory at the Pro-Am event of Pune Open 2016
The Pro-Am event of the Pune Open 2016, played at the Oxford Golf Resort, was won by Chandigarh-based professional Ajeetesh Sandhu and his team.
The Pro-Am was played in the Texas Scramble format where the team’s best ball was chosen on every shot including the putting green.
PGTI member Ajeetesh Sandhu led his team to victory in the Pro-Am event with a score of 54.3 points. Ajeetesh’s team comprised of amateurs Mr. Durgesh Kotwal, Mr. Bhushan Musale and Mr. Sachin Gangal.
PGTI member Vinod Kumar helped his team finish second with a score of 55.3 points. Vinod’s team comprised of amateurs Mr. Sudin Baraokar, Mr. Pramod Nemade and Mr. M Nagbhushanam.
The prize for the closest to the pin on hole no. 3 was won by Mr. Jong Soae Oh whose shot landed 16.3 feet from the hole. Mr. Jong Soae Oh took home a Giant Snap Bicycle for his effort.
The prize for the closest to the pin on hole no. 14 was won by Mr. Durgesh Kotwal whose shot landed 10 feet from the hole.
The prize for the straightest drive on hole no. 16 was won by Mr. Partha Iyengar who landed it at a distance of four inches from the centre of the fairway.
