Rashid Khan tied 16th after round three in Thailand

Rashid Khan was the best placed Indian after round three of the True Thailand Classic at the Black Mountain Golf Club in Hua Hin.

Rashid, a double winner on the Asian Tour, shot a one-over-73 on Saturday to drop from overnight tied ninth to tied 16th as his total stood at seven-under-209. He trailed the leader, Scott Hend of Australia, by seven shots.

Jeev Milkha Singh's third round 69 pushed him up 27 places to tied 22nd at six-under-210.

Gaganjeet Bhullar was a further stroke back in tied 28th.

Himmat Rai and Chiragh Kumar were both in tied 34th at four-under-212.

Arjun Atwal occupied tied 57th at one-under-215.

Elsewhere, at the Asian Development Tour's PGM Clearwater Masters, India's Chikkarangappa S secured tied 21st place at one-under-283.
