Anirban moves up to tied ninth in Doral

Anirban Lahiri made three birdies and one bogey to move up two spots into tied ninth position at the halfway stage of the World Golf Championship (WGC)-Cadillac Championship on Friday.

The Indian star, who is the reigning Asian Tour number one, shot a second successive two-under-70 at the Trump National Doral where his four-under-140 total left him six shots behind leader Adam Scott of Australia, who carded a 66. Rory McIlroy trails in second place, one back.

The highlight of Lahiri’s second round was the 14-feet birdie conversion on the closing 18th.
