Lahiri tied 11th at WGC – Cadillac Championship
Reigning Asian Tour number one Anirban Lahiri of India got off to an encouraging start at the World Golf Championship (WGC)-Cadillac Championship on Thursday as he signed for a two-under-70 to stay four shots off the pace in tied 11th place.
Australian Marcus Fraser and Scott Piercy of the United States fired scores of six-under-66 to share the opening day honours at the Trump National Doral in Florida.
Lahiri produced six birdies and four bogeys in round one of the US$9.5 million event.
