Lahiri ends tied 33rd at Phoenix Open
India's Anirban Lahiri (66-74-71-69) fired a final round of two-under-69 at the PGA Tour's Waste Management Phoenix Open to finish tied 33rd at four-under-280.
The tournament was won by Hideki Matsuyama of Japan who defeated American Rickie Fowler in a playoff after the two had ended the regulation 72 holes with matching totals of 14-under-270.
Anirban gained six places from his overnight tied 39th thanks to his final round of 69 which featured four birdies and two bogeys.
It's so far been a creditable start for Lahiri in his rookie season on the PGA Tour. He had finished tied 28th at the Career Builder Challenge two weeks back.
