Himmat Rai finishes tied 23rd in Singapore

Himmat Rai had the best finish among the Indians at the SMBC Singapore Open as he claimed tied 23rd place at two-under-282. Korean Younghan Song won the event with a total of 12-under-272.

Rai shot scores of 70, 69, 73 and 70 during the week. His final round one-under-70 helped him rise six places from his tied 29th position after round three.

Rahil Gangjee was tied 34th at even-par-284, SSP Chawrasia was tied 38th at one-over-285 and Shiv Kapur finished tied 64th at seven-over-291.
