Randhawa in tied fourth after round one in Manila

Lahiri tied 46th in Dubai

Jyoti Randhawa of India struck a four-under-68 in the opening round of the Asian Tour’s US$1 million Resorts World Manila Masters on Thursday to be placed tied fourth, two behind leader Nicholas Fung of Malaysia.

Randhawa, a former Asia No. 1, mixed six birdies and two bogeys during his opening round.

The other Indians with sub-par scores were SSP Chawrasia (70) in tied 27th and Kapil Kumar (71) in tied 40th.

Rahil Gangjee’s 72 placed him joint 54th while Shiv Kapur and Khalin Joshi were a further shot back in tied 69th.

The Indian trio of Shubhankar Sharma, Chikkarangappa and Chiragh Kumar were tied 84th at two-over-74.

Gaganjeet Bhullar and Jeev Milkha Singh shot rounds of 75 to occupy tied 101st place.

Rashid Khan (76) was tied 111th, Himmat Rai (77) was tied 116th and Manav Jaini (80) was 128th. 
 
Anirban Lahiri was tied 46th at one-over-73 after round one of the European Tour's DP Tour World Championship in Dubai.
