Chadha & Kapur in tied 17th in Singapore

Abhijit Singh Chadha and Shiv Kapur were the highest-placed Indians after round one of The World Classic Championship at Laguna National, a US$750,000 Asian Tour event. Chadha and Kapur fired scores of one-over-72 to be tied 17th, three off the lead.

Khalin Joshi and SSP Chawrasia brought back cards of 73 to be tied 23rd while Gaganjeet Bhullar shot a 74 to be tied 37th.

The trio of Shubhankar Sharma, Abhinav Lohan and Rashid Khan were tied 55th with cards of 75.

Jeev Milkha Singh and Chikkarangappa returned scores of 76 to be tied 72nd while Chiragh Kumar was joint 86th with a score of 77.

Among the other Indians in the field, Kapil Kumar (78) was tied 99th, Jyoti Randhawa (79) and Himmat Rai (79) were both in tied 112th and Rahil Gangjee (81) was tied 131st.
