Chikkarangappa & Bhullar lie tied eighth at Yeangder Tournament Players Championship
The Indian duo of Chikkarangappa and Gaganjeet Bhullar were in tied eighth after round two of the Asian Tour's Yeangder Tournament Players Championship. Chikka (73-65) and Gaganjeet (69-69) totalled six-under-138 for the first two days to lie five shots behind the leader Miguel Tabuena of The Philippines.
Chikka shot a sizzling seven-under-65 to leapfrog from overnight tied 52nd to tied eighth.
The tournament has been reduced to three rounds after play was abandoned on day two due to rain.
The other Indians who made the cut were Rahil Gangjee who was placed tied 46th at one-under-143 and Himmat Rai who was placed tied 60th at even-par-144.
At the European Tour's British Masters, Jeev Milkha Singh occupied tied 48th place at two-under-211 after round three. He was 10 shots off the lead.
