Sandhu, Raghuvanshi and Gangal in joint lead after round one of Pre Qualifying I
Delhi’s Bikramjit Singh Sandhu and the Pune duo of Dinesh Raghuvanshi and Sumedh Gangal shot identical scores of four-under-68 to emerge joint round one leaders at the PGTI’s Pre Qualifying I for the 2015 season being held at Eagleton - The Golf Resort near Bangalore.
While Sandhu mixed six birdies with a double-bogey in his opening round, Raghuvanshi fired an eagle on the 15th, four birdies and two bogeys. Gangal’s first round featured eight birdies and four bogeys.
Vipin Raghuvanshi of Mhow, Mysore’s P Prabhu and Abdul Raheem K H of the Eagleton Golf Resort, Bangalore, were in tied fourth place at two-under-70.
The top 34 players (+ ties) will qualify from Pre Qualifying I, a 36-hole event, for the Final Qualifying Stage.
