SSP Chowrasia secures tied fifth at Hong Kong Open after final round of 67
Rahil Gangjee, Jyoti Randhawa & Shiv Kapur also finish in top-20
SSP Chowrasia had the best finish among the Indians at the Hong Kong Open. The two-time winner on the European Tour secured joint fifth place after rounds of 69, 65, 70 and 67 at the Hong Kong Golf Club. Chowrasia's final round of three-under-67 moved him up eight places from overnight tied 13th and he ended up with a total of nine-under-271 at the event co-sanctioned by the European Tour and Asian Tour.
Australian Scott Hend defeated Filippino Angelo Que in a playoff after the two had ended the regulation 72 holes with matching totals of 13-under-267.
It turned out to be a ggod day for the Indians as Rahil Gangjee, Jyoti Randhawa and Shiv Kapur also finished inside the top-20.
Rahil Gangjee climbed up from tied 43rd to tied 15th after posting a 66 in the final round that took his tally to six-under-274.
Jyoti Randhawa was also tied 15th. He dropped nine places from his overnight tied sixth after a final round of 72.
Shiv Kapur shot a 69 in round four to be tied 20th at five-under-275.
