Chowrasia and Randhawa in tied fifth place after round two of Hong Kong Open

SSP Chowrasia (69-65) posted five-under-65 to climb up from tied 44th to tied fifth place in round two of the Hong Kong Open. Jyoti Randhawa (64-70), the overnight leader, also dropped to joint fifth after his second round effort of even-par-70. Chowrasia and Randhawa have identical totals of six-under-134 and are three behind the leader Ernie Els of South Africa.

Both Shiv Kapur and Rahil Gangjee shot scores of two-under-68 on day two to be in tied 25th at four-under-136.

The Indians who missed the cut of one-under-139 were Chiragh Kumar (142), Anirban Lahiri (143), Jeev Milkha Singh (144), Himmat Rai (144), Rashid Khan (145) and Sujjan Singh (147).
