PGTI Feeder Tour event at Forest Hill Golf Resort begins on September 2

The Professional Golf Tour of India (PGTI) will stage the fourth event of its 2014 Feeder Tour season at the Forest Hill Golf Resort in Mohali district, Punjab, from September 2-4, 2014. The tournament carries a prize purse of Rs. 6 lakh.

The tournament at Forest Hill will have a field of 72 players. The event will be played over three rounds of 18 holes each with the cut being applied after 36 holes.

The top names in the field include Chandigarh-based professionals Harendra Gupta and Ranjit Singh. The field will also feature Akshay Sharma of Chandigarh, the winner of the season’s opening event in Jaipur and the current leader of the Feeder Tour Order of Merit with earnings of Rs. 1,77,870.

A total of six events with prize purse of Rs. 6 lakh each will be played during the 2014 PGTI Feeder Tour season. The last two events of the season will be staged at two different courses in Lucknow later this month. The winner of the 2014 PGTI Feeder Tour Order of Merit will get an exemption to play on the PGTI in 2015.
