Bhullar, Jeev off to steady starts in Austria
Gaganjeet Bhullar's opening round two-under-70 placed him tied 14th at the European Tour's Lyoness Open. Bhullar trails the joint leaders Englishman Adam Gee and Swede Mikael Lundberg by three strokes. Jeev Milkha Singh carded a one-under-71 to be tied 26th.
SSP Chowrasia, the third Indian in the field, lies tied 76th at three-over-75.
Bhullar, who is currently 124th in the European Tour rankings, scored five birdies against three bogeys in the first round. Jeev on the other hand, came up with four birdies against three bogeys.
Chowrasia had 16 pars on the opening day but dropped three shots as a result of a bogey and a double-bogey.
