Kapur off to a brilliant start at Tshwane Open

Shiv Kapur made a brilliant start at the European Tour's Tshwane Open in South Africa with a five-under-67 on the opening day. Kapur, who fired six birdies and a bogey on Thursday, currently lies tied eighth. Englishman Simon Dyson and South African Trevor Fisher Jnr are the joint clubhouse leaders with scores of seven-under-65.

Round one could not be completed on Thursday and will resume on Friday morning.

Gaganjeet Bhullar was tied 36th at two-under-70.
