Rashid Khan leads team to victory in Louis Philippe Cup Pro-Am

Professional golfer Rashid Khan led his team Shubhkamna Delhi to victory in the Pro-Am event of the 3rd Louis Philippe Cup at the Bombay Presidency Golf Club (BPGC), here, on Tuesday.

Rashid and his teammates Deepak Yadav, Sharad Anand and Ashish Aggarwal carded a nett team score of 25-under to emerge winners. They were followed home by Vikrant Chopra's Navratna Ahmedabad, who, along with teammates Devang Nanavati, Mihir Sharma and Pranav Shah, finished with 24-under. In third place were Abhijit Chadha's DLF Gurgoan, comprising of amateurs Rajen Gandhi, Vijay Chauhan and Nikhil Mehra, with 23-under.

There are nine teams in the fray for the Louis Philippe Cup, India's official Pro Golf League. The winners of the LP Cup pocket Rs 36 lakhs, runners-up Rs 24 lakhs, third place team Rs 18 lakhs and fourth placed team Rs 12 lakhs. Teams ranked 5th to 8th after the first two rounds will battle it out for minor placings and the ninth team will not compete in the final two days.
