Shubham Jaglan wins DP World PGTI Qualifying School

Forty-seven players earn full cards for 2026 season

India’s Shubham Jaglan won the DP World PGTI Qualifying School with an impressive five-shot margin after he struck a solid two-under 70 in the fourth and final round of the Final Qualifying Stage played at the Kensville Golf & Country Club in Ahmedabad.

Gurugram-based Shubham (72-71-69-70), a two-time runner-up on the PGTI last season and making his debut at the Qualifying School this year, totaled six-under 282 for the week.

American Jhared Hack (70-70-73-74), on his first visit to India, clinched the runner-up spot at one-under 287 following his last round of 74.

Ajay Baisoya fired the week’s lowest score of 65 to finish third at two-over 290.

Seventeen-year-old Pritish Singh Karayat (68) finished the highest among the amateurs as he ended the week in fourth position at three-over 291.

Sixteen-year-old Kartik Singh took tied seventh place at six-over 294.

The cut in the final round went at 17-over 305 with the top 47 players earning their full cards for the 2026 DP World PGTI season.

The top 47 players included seven amateurs. There were also 10 foreigners (two Americans, two Japanese, two Sri Lankans, one Zambian, one Ugandan, one Irishman and one Nepali) among the 47 players who earned their full cards.

Shubham Jaglan, the overnight leader by one shot, was steady through the day and got an opportunity to extend his lead with birdies on the sixth and seventh. Shubham hung on to his advantage from there on by staying consistent and making most greens. Jaglan finally came through as winner with a comfortable five-shot margin as his nearest rival Jhared Hack had a flurry of bogeys towards the end.

Shubham said, “I’m really excited to have won the Qualifying School. I played great golf all week long. I went bogey-free today which was one of my goals for the day. I played consistent throughout the 18 holes today. The birdies on the sixth and seventh where I produced a couple of great shots put me in a comfortable position. I stayed patient thereafter and didn’t make any mistakes.”
