Rayhan Thomas shoots error-free 66 to move into tied 22nd and raise qualification hopes at DP World Tour Q School Final Stage
India's Rayhan Thomas received a major boost to his qualification hopes for the DP World Tour when he shot a five-under 66 in round five to be placed tied 22nd at a total of 13-under at the DP World Tour Qualifying School Final Stage being played at Infinitum Golf in Tarragona, Spain.
Eighty-three players made the cut for the last two rounds at the event. At the end of six rounds, the top 20 and ties will secure their DP World Tour cards for the 2025 season.
Rayhan, a winner on the PGTI this year, has so far shot scores of 67, 72, 71, 68 and 66 at the Q School Final Stage.
Thomas' error-free 66 saw him make a late charge as he sank four birdies on the last six holes in the penultimate round.
Saptak Talwar, the other Indian to make the 72-hole cut, was placed tied 67th at seven-under following his fifth round effort of even-par 71.
Italy's Edoardo Molinari was the leader at 24-under. He had played 15 holes in the fifth round when play was suspended.
