Kapur secures tied 48th place in Dubai

Shiv Kapur (72-70-70-71) posted a solid one-under-71 in the final round of the Dubai Desert Classic to secure tied 48th position. Scotsman Stephen Gallacher won the European Tour event with a 16-under-272 total.

Kapur, the lone Indian to make the cut, made four birdies and three bogeys in his final round of 71 and dropped one place from his overnight tied 47th position.
