Shiv Kapur lone Indian to make the cut in Dubai
Shiv Kapur (72-70) was the lone Indian to make the cut at the Dubai Desert Classic. Shiv signed a card of two-under-70 in the second round to end up with a two-day total of two-under-142. Rory McIlroy of Northern Ireland continued in the lead with a total of 11-under-133.
Shiv Kapur managed to make the cut of two-under-142 after posting four birdies and two bogeys in his second round on Friday.
Jeev Milkha Singh (75-69) totaled even-par-144 after his three-under-69 in round two. He missed the cut by two shots.
Gaganjeet Bhullar (77-74) also missed the cut after a 74 in round two that moved his total to seven-over-151.
