Chikkarangappa shoots third round of 70 to be tied fifth at the Royal's Cup
Chikkarangappa S (67-67-70) shot a third round score of two-under 70 to be placed tied fifth at 12-under 204 at the Royal's Cup on the Asian Tour.
Chikka had a fruitful front-nine with three birdies but dropped three bogeys in exchange for two birdies on the back-nine. He was placed seven shots behind the leader Chan Shih-chang of Chinese Taipei at the Grand Prix Golf Club.
Rahil Gangjee and Aman Raj were the next best Indians in tied 37th place at six-under 210.
Rashid Khan and Viraj Madappa were a further shot back in tied 47th.
