21st IndianOil SERVO Masters Golf to tee-off at Digboi Golf Links from November 17
• Prize money of Rs. 60 lakhs • Top names in the field include Manu Gandas, Yuvraj Singh Sandhu, Akshay Sharma as well as former champions Shamim Khan, Mukesh Kumar, Shankar Das and Harendra Gupta
Indian Oil Corporation Limited (Assam Oil Division) Digboi is all set to host the 21st edition of the IndianOil SERVO Masters Golf tournament. This premier Golf Tournament will be held under the aegis of the TATA Steel Professional Golf Tour of India (TATA Steel PGTI) from 17th to 20th November 2021, at the picturesque Digboi Golf Links.
The tournament offers a handsome prize purse of Rs. 60 lakhs. The Pro-Am event will be held on 21st November.
The event will feature a field of 117 players including 115 professionals and two amateurs. The top 50 players and ties will make the cut after round two. PGTI became part of the Official World Golf Ranking (OWGR) system from the start of the 2019 season. All PGTI events now offer world ranking points. Therefore, the IndianOil SERVO Masters Golf will be carrying world ranking points.
The field will feature top professionals such as Manu Gandas, Yuvraj Singh Sandhu, Akshay Sharma as well as former champions Shamim Khan, Mukesh Kumar, Shankar Das, Harendra Gupta and Sanjay Kumar.
The foreign challenge would be led by Sri Lankans Anura Rohana, Mithun Perera, N Thangaraja and K Prabagaran and Bangladeshis Md Zamal Hossain Mollah, Badal Hossain, Md Sayum and Md Akbar Hossain.
The local professionals in the field are Deepraj Chetia, Karanbir Singh Lall, Biren Karmakar, Deven Bhumij, Dulal Kalowar, Bipon Murah, Arun Gowala and Binod Gogoi. The local amateurs in the field are Alok Barua and Jakir Hussain.

The prize money of the tournament is Rs. 60 lakhs. It is indeed a pleasure to welcome the eminent golfers of India and abroad to this historic and picturesque place. IndianOil has always been promoting sports. The Servo Masters Golf Tournament is one of them. Over the years, IndianOil Servo Masters Golf has earned a coveted position on the PGTI Calendar. Currently there are about 90 sportspersons recruited by IndianOil in various sports. IndianOil has been recently awarded with the prestigious “Rashtriya Khel Protsahan Puraskar 2021” for “Encouragement to sports through CSR”. Mr. S M Vaidya, Chairman, IndianOil, received the award on 13.11.2021 from the Hon’ble President of India. The venue, the picturesque Digboi Golf Links, is a golfer’s delight. The course is a one of its kind in terms of ambience as it is situated among the lush tea estates and thick forest of eastern Assam. The historic Digboi Golf Links is bordered by the Dehing forest reserve on three sides and the magnificent Patkai range of mountains on the fourth. This par-72 course with a yardage of 6329 could also be termed as the best in the north-eastern part of the country due to its magnificent layout.
