Karan Taunk posts seven-under-64 for the round one lead in Pre Qualifying I

Karan Taunk of Jamshedpur struck a sizzling seven-under-64 to emerge round one leader at the PGTI’s Pre Qualifying I for the 2014 season being held at the Poona Club Golf Course in Pune. Taunk’s first round included eight birdies and a bogey.
 
Sagar Raghuvanshi of Pune was placed second at three-under-68. He shot five birdies against two bogeys.

Pravin Pathare, another Pune golfer, shares third place with Rahul Solanki at two-under-69.

The top 38 players (+ ties) will qualify from Pre Qualifying I, a 36-hole event, for the Final Qualifying Stage.
