Kapil Kumar has most course records on PGTI
Delhi golfer Kapil Kumar has the distinction of having the most number of course records on the PGTI. The 28-year-old has three course records against his name.
While Kapil is the sole holder of the course record of 10-under-62 at the Bhatiary Golf & Country Club in Chittagong, he is also the joint holder of the course records of seven-under-65 at Coimbatore Golf Club and eight-under-63 at Poona Club Golf Course.

Coimbatore Golf Club
Seven-under-65 – Round 1 of PGTI Players Championship 2014
Kapil Kumar mixed three birdies with two bogeys on the front-nine. However, he turned it around with a six-under on the back-nine. Kapil holed it from the bunker for eagle on the par-4 15th hole and set up tap-in birdies on five occasions with some brilliant iron-play. His longest putt of the day was a 10-footer for birdie on the 17th.
Bhatiary Golf & Country Club, Chittagong
10-under-62 – Round 3 of City Bank American Express Chittagong Open 2018
Kapil Kumar set the fairways and greens of the Bhatiary Golf & Country Club on fire with an astonishing 11 birdies that came at the cost of just one bogey. His course record 62 featured an amazing run of five straight birdies from the first to the fifth hole. He picked up another shot on the ninth to make the turn at an imposing six-under. After conceding a bogey on the 10th, Kapil added another five birdies to etch his name in BGCC’s record books.
Poona Club Golf Course
Eight-under-63 – Round 3 of Pune Open 2019
Kapil Kumar’s fantastic approach shots helped him land the ball close to the pins through the day. His round consisting of nine birdies and a bogey helped him match the course record of 63.
