Arjun Atwal secures tied 23rd place at 3M Open, records best finish on PGA Tour since 2012

Arjun Atwal (65-68-68-70) closed his week at the PGA Tour's 3M Open in Blaine, Minnesota, with a last round of one-under-70 to secure tied 23rd place at 13-under-271.

Atwal, the winner of the event's Monday qualifier, dropped 14 spots from his overnight tied ninth after his 70 on Sunday that featured five birdies, two bogeys and a double-bogey.

Arjun, the only Indian to win on the PGA Tour, thus recorded his best finish on the PGA Tour since 2012. He has now earned a spot at this week's John Deere Classic.

The tournament was won by American Matthew Wolff who totaled 21-under-263.
